Beliefs and Aim

We believe in God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit; in the verbal inspiration of the Holy Scriptures as originally given; in the vicarious atonement of the Lord Jesus Christ and the Eternal Salvation of all who believe in Him and the Eternal Punishment of all who reject Him.  We believe, therefore, that God's Word as found in the canonical books of the Bible is the only and final source and guide for faith, doctrine, and life.

We accept the Apostle's Creed and the confessional writings of the Lutheran Church, the Augsburg Confession, the Nicene Creed, the Athanasian Creed, and Luther's Small Catechism as being in conformity with the Word of God.

Our aim is to follow the example of Christ and the apostles:  to win souls for Christ by the preaching of the Word and by personal example and witnessing, and to strengthen the believers by Christian fellowship and teaching.

We desire to join with other believers in the congregations of the Church of the Lutheran Brethren in the spreading of God's Word to all the world through missions and the Lutheran Brethren Seminary.
